In a few months, the Large Hadron Collider at CERN will advance the experimental frontier of particle physics. The outcomes are uncertain, but the discoveries made and the new puzzles encountered are certain to change the face of particle physics and echo through neighboring sciences. In regard to the start of the LHC, the Excellence Cluster Universe gladly announces the public talk “The Coming Revolution in Particle Physics” by its guest, the renowned particle physicist Professor Chris Quigg from Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory, Batavia, Illinois. In his talk, Quigg will focus on possible outcomes by the LHC and discuss their impact on science.
