Directions from Munich City Center

Public transport: Take the subway U6 to terminal „Garching Forschungszentrum“ (time of the journey about 30 minutes). Exit the underground station following the signs to IPP/Universe Cluster. From the top of the stairs turn left to the IPP gate. From there walk left of the central green, cross the bridge with blue handrails and take a turn left to the entrance of the building of the Universe Cluster.

Car: Take the Autobahn A 9 München/Nürnberg. Leave at exit "Garching Nord" and follow the signs towards "Forschungsgelände". In front of the subway entrance turn right to proceed to the IPP Gate. From there take the street on the lefthand side and cross the bridge with blue handrails. After the bridge you turn left to the building of the Universe Cluster.

Directions from Munich Airport:

Public Transport: From the airport take the Metropolitan (S-Bahn) S1 and exit at the station "Neufahrn". From there you take the bus no. 690 to the Garching Campus. Exit at the terminal station and turn left to the IPP Gate. From there walk left of the central green, cross the bridge with blue handrails and take a turn to the left to the building of the Excellence Cluster Universe.

Taxi: The costs for a taxi ride to the Excellence Cluster Universe are about 35 Euros.
