The Group "Observational Astrophysics" focuses on research issues involved in Dark Energy, Modified Gravity, Galaxy Clusters and the Cosmic Microwave Background.

- Study of the accelerated expansion of the Universe with different astrophysical tests
- Galaxy clusters as witnesses of the cosmological history
- Structure formation in the Universe
