New Public Outreach Seminars
The Excellence Cluster Universe will participate in a joint seminar program of ESO, ESA and IAU. These institutions will offer monthly Astronomy Communication Seminars focusing on public outreach activities in cosmology and astrophysics. The program is directed to PR officers and scientists involved in Public Outreach for their institutions. The inaugural seminar will be given by Adrienne J. Gauthier from Steward Observatory, University of Arizona. She will talk about “Astronomy in Second Life” on Nov. 29, 12:30 to 1:00 pm in the ESO Auditorium (Karl-Schwarzschild-Str. 2).
