Abstract

The recent progress on the self-consistent tilted axis cranking model based on the covariant density functional theory with point-coupling interaction and its application to the nuclear magnetic and antimagnetic rotation in nuclei are briefly reported. In particular, the magnetic rotation bands in 60Ni and the antimagnetic rotational band in 105Cd are discussed
