Abstract
In this work we investigate the possible interference effects between the _s13_s17923_s19(1405) and the non-resonant final state in p_s16p reactions at 3.5 GeV beam kinetic energy measured by the HADES collaboration. The two poles nature of the _s13_s17923_s19(1405), which is supported by most of the theoretical models, are parametrized within a simplified phenomenological model with Breit-Wigner functions to evaluate the interference effects. The model is adjusted such as to be in accordance with the theoretical prediction for the _s13_s17923_s19(1405) in p_s16p collisions.
